And where do these farms stand: at home or in a separate rented room? They consume electricity decently - what are the costs for the month?
Mine at home is a big risk. All equipment is located in a special room, where besides my farms there are dozens of the same, but already other owners. The room has everything you need for normal operation of the miners: reinforced wiring, stable Internet, systems for supplying fresh filtered air and tapping hot, a huge number of fans, security with video surveillance. For a place for a single farm + electricity and maintenance, I pay about $ 100 a month.

Special companies are engaged in leasing out space, which have recently appeared in Ukraine. Earlier one could hear about such things only abroad, today there are solutions for Ukrainians. However, this does not interfere with the use of foreign services - I did this with ASIC-miners, which I did not even see. For a place for an "ashik" I pay $ 85 a month, while I'm insured against force majeure and I can order delivery of miners home at any time. But not even my devices can arrive, but similar ones that are closer to me (capacities are placed all over the world) - they will be delivered more cheaply and faster. Home mining is a big risk and, in most cases, a disappointment. First, to make a large and powerful farm work, you need a good wiring. For example, two farms with a dozen NVIDIA GeForce 1080 Ti video cards consume about 2300-2500 kWh per month or about 3 kW per hour. Add home appliances here and get constant "knocked out plugs" and increased fire hazard - the wiring is simply not designed for such loads. Against power surges, too, no one is insured, and in residential buildings this happens often and is one of the main reasons for equipment failure. Moreover, under the farm you need to immediately allocate a room in which you do not plan to live - noise and temperature even from a small farm create unbearable conditions. Another problem is dust. In general, I highly recommend not doing this at home, except that the Ukrainian "Karbovanets" is straightened on the home computer and paid "namainenym" for the Internet. If the situation is favorable, I plan to achieve self-sufficiency in a year: considering further investments, reinvestments and other expenses. About two or three months and speech can not go, because I treat this business as a business, so "earn and quickly dump" - not my option.

The initial investment was $ 10,000, I bought two farms with video cards on them to run ZCash. On average, they bring up to $ 2000 per month, given the course jumps and difficulties. Sometimes it was less, sometimes more - everything depends on a heap of factors and it is impossible to predict the profit precisely. Of course, there are special services that calculate the approximate profit, but you should not plan on the basis of their indicators. Now the income is constantly fluctuating - the rate and complexity are increasing, and this happens unevenly.
